Colan Sewell

Chairman of the Board

Colan is a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong, well-established foundation in the fields of marketing, sales and economics. 

Colan attended prestigious Washington State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Economics. During his years at Washington State University, Colan was proud to be part of Phi Kappa Phi, Golden Key and Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Societies. He was also Vice President of the Student Athlete Advisory Board and competed as a Track & Field athlete in the 100, 200, and 400m events.  Colan also worked for the WSU Foundation, where he successfully developed and implemented several marketing and sales strategies that led to an increase in the Athletic Alumni fund development program revenues by over 100% for the 2000 fiscal year. 

Over the next decade, Colan continued his career as a dedicated associate, employee and business leader.  His sales and marketing expertise was repeatedly instrumental in obtaining new levels of achievement for himself, as well as for the companies for which he worked, including Microsoft.

Colan continues to live in Washington State, because he has a firm belief in the importance of giving back to his community.  He remains an active and positive influence by coaching Track at O’Dea High School as well as heading up his new business, Sewell Institute of Speed.
